Land clearing done in one pass

Our forestry mulcher cuts and grinds brush and small trees right where they stand. The mulch stays on the ground to hold soil and slow regrowth, so there’s nothing to haul or burn.

01

Forestry mulching

Our main service. A compact track loader with a forestry mulching head cuts brush, vines and small trees and grinds them into mulch right where they stand. Trees you want to keep stay standing, and the mulch layer keeps the ground covered so it won’t wash out. No burn piles, and nothing to haul away.

Great for

  • Overgrown acreage
  • Selective clearing
  • Hillsides & slopes
02

Lot & homesite clearing

Building a new home? We open up wooded building lots, homesites and driveway paths so surveyors, builders and septic crews can get in. Tell us which shade trees to keep and we’ll clear around them. When a site needs some digging too, we bring the mini excavator.

Great for

  • New construction
  • Driveway paths
  • Surveyor access
  • Septic & utility access
03

Honeysuckle & invasive brush removal

Bush honeysuckle, autumn olive and multiflora rose have taken over wooded lots all over Greater Cincinnati. They crowd out native plants, swallow backyards and hide the view. We mulch out the invasive understory and leave your mature trees standing. Mulching works on steep, wooded hillsides where a dozer would tear up the slope, and the mulch stays put to help hold the soil.

Great for

  • Wooded hillside lots
  • Backyards & ravines
  • Opening up views
  • Reclaiming woods
04

Fence line clearing

We clear a clean strip along new or existing fence lines so installs go faster and repairs are easier to reach. Briars, saplings and vines get mulched in place instead of piled up.

Great for

  • New fence installs
  • Fence repairs
  • Property boundaries
05

Trails & hunting land

Shooting lanes, food plots, ATV trails and walking paths cut through thick woods without tearing up the ground. We work with you to lay out the lanes and trails before the machine starts.

Great for

  • Shooting lanes
  • Food plots
  • ATV & walking trails
06

Pasture reclamation

Take back fields that have gone to briars and saplings, without dozers, root rakes or burn piles. The mulch breaks down and feeds the soil, so the ground is ready to reseed.

Great for

  • Overgrown fields
  • Horse & cattle pasture
  • Hay ground

Common questions

What is forestry mulching?

It’s a way of clearing land with one machine that cuts and grinds vegetation into mulch in place. There’s no hauling, no burn piles and far less ground damage than a dozer.

Is there a minimum job size?

Yes. Jobs start at $2,500, which covers one full crew day. We don’t schedule half-day jobs.

When is the best time of year to clear land?

Late fall through winter is prime. The leaves are off, so we can see the ground and the trees you want to keep, and frozen ground means less rutting. We work year-round, though spring mud can slow things down.

How far do you travel?

About 50 miles from our base in Cincinnati (45251). That covers Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Southwest Indiana.

Do I need to be there during the job?

No. We walk the property with you, or go over it by photos and video, before we start. Then we send photos when the job is done.

What happens to the mulch?

It stays spread on the ground. It protects the soil, holds moisture and slows down regrowth.

Do you remove stumps?

Forestry mulching grinds stumps down to about ground level. If you need stumps dug out or ground shaped, ask and we’ll quote it separately.

How soon can you start?
